Courses Offered:

Currently at SIS we are offeriing classes for primary division i.e. from Class-I to Class-V.

Extra Curricular Activities include:

Physical Education: All grades participate in Yoga weekly. Our energetic physical educator finds fun ways to keep the kids active through sports and games. A schedule is published close to the start of school informing parents which days are yoga days (split by grade) for uniform purposes.

Art Program: Students will have 1 scheduled art class each week. Under the direction of artist and educator, the SIS art curriculum for Kindergarten through Grade 5th is centered around learning the elements of art and design. Throughout this structure, discussions and activities include an incorporation of art history, color theory and critical thinking, often incorporating subject matter which is of specific interest to a particular class.

Music Program: The goal of our music program is to teach age appropriate music and music theory in a fun, positive, and interactive environment. Each class will have a scheduled music lesson every week with our Music teacher. They will also prepare for many concerts throughout the year.

We believe in teaching and developing the students by providing safe environment by taking care of respect integrity and care of students. We focus on creating an atmosphere where everyone shows respect for diverse, custom, and cultures. We have many educational programs that are infused into the daily curriculum that focused on achieving this goal.

Dance Program: Dancing is the mixture of art and an exercise which connects the mind and body and makes one sharper and stronger. The basic purpose behind dance program is to engage child in art form, personality development, positively channel of child’s energy, fitness of life style. Its also a stress buster for the child. Each class will have a scheduled dance lesson every week with our dance teacher.

Immaculate Program: This program is offered to students from Kindergarten in which students have to learn their personal cleanliness, security, safety, hygiene, so they can keep themselves safe from the outer world.

International Language Program: This program is offered to students from Grade 1st onwards. In first session of French, students can recognize and use familiar words and simple phrases for concrete purposes. Students can introduce himself/herself or someone else. They can ask and answer basic questions about home, family, surroundings etc.

Coding Program: Coding is how we communicate with computers, and what we use to build and run websites, apps, games, and more. With the coding students can better understand the world around them. It improves the creativity, problem solving, persistence, collaboration, communication of child.

Field Trips: Field trips can be of enormous educational and cultural value. They are provided as an extension and enrichment of the curriculum. Parents will be given ample notice to meet any financial requirements necessary and to volunteer as chaperones. Parents are expected to sign permission slips for each trip and return them promptly to the school. Field trips are arranged at the option/discretion of each teacher and the permission of the principal.

Birthdays: Celebrating life is one of our greatest joys! Birthdays are announced daily over the school intercom for everyone to cheer. Children have the opportunity to have their picture taken and placed in their special birthday button. Birthday treats for the classroom are encouraged but are to be kept simple (e.g. cookies, candies etc.)

Special Events: During the school year, we also hold special events such as Diwali, Dussehra, Rakshabandhan, Janamashtami, Christmas Concert, Lohri, Holi celebration, Grandparents Day, Poetry Contest, and Field Day.
